Since I was a kid I was passionate by the stars. Looking at them made me feel like I was a grain of sand on a huge beach. They made me think a lot about questions like, where comes our reality from and how are forces capable of creating, collecting and fragmenting everything that exists. My work is a vision of my understanding of the world and of the mentioned forces * which I represent through my personal experimentation and research. My work consists in putting pieces together, making use of random chemical reactions, the light and its colors. I get enthusiastic by quantum physics, astronomy and electromagnetism. The perfect combination of inspiration is watching the past in the stars on a desert beach listening to the creation and breaking of the waves. This series of work is a physicalization of my vision of the micro -macro cosmos seen from the iris of the human eye (microcosm) and from the universe (macrocosm) The technique I used is layers of colors reacting differently depending on their watery or grease composition and the heat and cold. To give the paintings the feeling of expansion I have used LED illumination placed on the back of the paintings or crystals placed on the side, to break the light and produce the same effect. This way the paintings become facilities which seek to encourage the inanimate. I think that the artistic practice has the ability to reflect concerns and processes which are hard to understand , such as physics and art, and give them a more graspable and understandable vision.
