About the Project
It is a deeply inspirational series in astrophysics , mostly in electromagnetism which is the invisible force that binds all material thinks together. I am working hardly in the theme of the combination of physics with art because according to my point of view and having touched both subjects in studies I realised. I think they try to understand the same thing : understand the world around us and find answers to things which are still unknown and unexplainable. What I'm interested in this series is the energy that binds and separates the all called electromagnetism. The technique, in this paintings, is mixed but intend to use materiales which are repelling and bind very random but creating a similar nebulae that can be seen with a telescope looking at the sky . Galactic nebulae full of stars ..pieces are created by magic in some areas of our universe. A technique which I experimented a lot before actually using the canvas or wood . Wood the mostly used surface in me works since many materials I use as painting are passing from liquid to solid get very hard and need a hard support . The colors are handmade for optimal results. The round shape of the background is something symbolic like most of the forms present in the naturel suraunding, are usually round and never straight ( if you look at the macrocosm , planets , solar systems etc ... and the microcosm : the cells , atoms, etc. you realize the presence of the round oval , curved ... but never straight) using this as a symbol of infinity and unlimited placement or direction of the work itself could be perfectly .. to create the optimum effect I also use LED lights which give this mystery and esxpansion to my work such as the sun does iluminate the mystical full moon.
